چکیده

Climate change, variability and anthropogenic forcings such as land use change are the main of river discharge variability. However, an understanding their simultaneous impacts on remains limited in some parts world. To shed light this issue, objective article is to investigate effects rainfall Nyong basin (at Olama Mbalmayo gauging stations) its sub-basins (So’o Mefou) over long period 1950–2018. achieve goal, hydro-meteorological data were analyzed using Pettitt test. Likewise, changes also supervised classifications Landsat satellite images basins at different periods (1973, 2000 2018). On annual scale, has decreased statistically studied basins. In large (Olama Mbalmayo), decrease synchronous with that discharges, while it concomitant increase Mefou (small basin). After ruptures within time series identified modules, extreme discharges (maximum minimum) Olama; Mbalmayo, maximum remained stable minimum decreased. other hand, have significantly increased Mefou. Impact of land use change on soil erodibility

Vulnerability of soil separates to detachment by water is described as soil erodibility by Universal Soil Loss Equation which can be affected by land use change. In this study it was attempted to quantify the changes of Universal Soil Loss Equation K-factor and its soil driving factors in three land uses including rangeland, rainfed farming, and orchards in Babolrood watershed, northern Iran. Impact of urban land cover change on land surface temperature

The rapid growth in urban population is seen to create a need for the development of more urban infrastructures. In order to meet this need, natural surfaces such as vegetation are been replaced with non-vegetated surfaces such as asphalt and bricks which has the ability to absorb heat and release it later. This change in land cover is seen to increase the land surface temperature. Previous stu...
